Scott Ashworth is vice president of sales where he leads the North American sales organization comprised of strategic alliance directors, sales directors, regional sales managers, and sales operations, that represent FDB drug and medical device knowledge solutions used in a variety of markets and by various customer personas.
In a career spanning three decades, Ashworth has extensive commercial leadership experience across medical organizations of all sizes. He joined FDB in 2017 after serving as a senior executive leading teams spanning more than 40 countries, including vice president of global sales and service at Siemens Healthcare. He has built, led, and aggressively grown revenue for a number of med-tech start-up companies. At Avinger, Semler and Gauss, Ashworth served as head of global sales where he built and managed teams of up to 50 people while continuously evolving structure and strategy to meet rapidly changing market and product demands. At HeartFlow, he served as VP of global sales and marketing where he built the commercial foundation for a transformative SaaS medical business model, including a strategic investment/distribution partnership with General Electric. Ashworth holds a bachelor’s degree in economic theory from the University of California, Los Angeles.
