Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs and Medical Device
Patrick Lupinetti is senior vice president for legal services and medical device, with responsibility for legal, regulatory and compliance issues, and the lead executive role for the FDB Prizm medical device database. Lupinetti joined FDB in 2008 from the Office of the New York State Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit where he served for 21 years and was the initial Director of the Unit's Special Projects Division. In that capacity, he had responsibility for the identification and investigation of systemic Medicaid overbillings, with a particular focus on institutional and cost-based providers, and served on numerous national teams conducting pharmaceutical pricing and marketing investigations. Lupinetti is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Law and was admitted to the New York State Bar in February, 1980. He received a bachelor's degree in philosophy from West Virginia University where he graduated magna cum laude, was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Rhodes Scholar Finalist.
